About Haogood Group

Haogood Group started in 2018 with one dumpling house in Mt Eden. Today we run three brands across six venues, serving 50,000+ diners every month.

Our mission is simple: redefine what Asian-European dining means in New Zealand. Three distinct brands. One uncompromising standard. Six venues that feel like home no matter which one you walk into.

We employ 150+ people across hospitality, kitchen, and head office. We source 80% of produce within 50km. And we built a loyalty programme that actually rewards loyalty.

Marcus brings 12 years of Michelin-trained discipline to Auckland’s wildest dining concept. Trained in London and Singapore, he leads the Jungle 8 kitchen with creative fearlessness.

Amy oversees the day-to-day across all 6 venues. Background in luxury hospitality and a relentless eye for guest experience.

Head Chef, Lucky 8 Auckland

David grew up between Auckland and Shanghai. His menus celebrate the bold heritage of Chinese banquet cooking refined with European technique.
